We've taken care of the Greensboro community for decades. For the past 20 years, the Lawing family and their team have treated the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Jacob Lawing is proud to carry on the tradition of caring service his mother established in 1998.
We welcome walk-ins on a daily basis. We never want anyone to be without better hearing. If you're in need of hearing help, we invite you to drop by our office any time.
We can work with any hearing aid manufacturer. We have the experience and equipment to repair or reprogram most any brand of hearing aids.
We understand hearing loss firsthand, and we can communicate in ASL. Several of our team members have hearing loss, which provides unique insight on how to best help our patients. If you are more comfortable communicating in American Sign Language, we can speak fluently without a translator.
We accept all insurance. We want to make sure hearing aids and hearing healthcare are affordable to you, so we'll work with any insurance.

Your First Appointment

1. When you come into our office, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team.

2. You’ll meet one of our hearing aid specialists who will get to know you, your lifestyle, and your biggest challenges with hearing so we can find the right solution for you.

3. Next, we’ll give you a full hearing evaluation. This lets us understand your hearing loss and how we can treat it.

4. After your hearing test is done, we’ll go over the results together. We’ll explain what is causing the problems you’ve noticed, and what that means. We want to make absolutely sure you understand your hearing loss. We also take our time exploring possible solutions with you.

5. If you have never experienced hearing aids before, we have a loaner program so you can try hearing aids in your environment. This is the best way to be informed: hearing is believing.

Hearing Solutions is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collect data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
